Fire and Lightning [Closed/Josh]

"Are you serious? You're still standing after that?" Val cried, shocked at this new Heartless' endurance. She risked a quick glance over at Josh to see how he was doing. He was still in the midst of battle too, seemingly these Heartless were stronger than the regular Heartless around Traverse Town. With the growing amount of Heartless appearing in the town lately, it was inevitable for new types to start appearing, this one included.

Brought back to reality by a swift movement from her enemy, Val snapped her head back in time to see the blade of the Heartless swoop down upon her. With little time to do anything, she could only manage to get her keyblade up to perform an inadaquate block. The Heartless' blade slid down her own, her Keyblade giving way under her weak stance, slicing open a gash in her hand.

Lowering her Keyblade and gasping with pain, a sudden rage overtook Val and she threw caution to the winds, gathering magic in her feet and propelling herself right into the Heartless. At point blank range, it would be hard for the Heartless to make a move as Val raised her fist mid-flight and threw it forwards its face with a crude cry. Should her attack connect, she would quickly bring her Keyblade up with her wounded hand and thrust it in the direction of the Heartless' body, intending to impale it and end the battle once and for all.
