KEYBLADE

Name: Way to the Dawn

Description: Riku's keyblade starts with a white and blue handle, with a silver chain hanging off of it. The chain has a red and black symbol on the end. It almost looks like a nobody symbol but different colors. Then from the handle down is blue with a lighter blue eye just before the blade portion. The blade is actually a mix of blue and red and it almost looks like a bat wing with an angel wing on the end of it. This is the keyblade he gained after realizing his true purpose about dealing with his darkness.

COMMAND STYLE

Name: Twilight Rebirth

Command Deck: His main power is darkness, though he walks a different path then most. Using the light that he has gained and his friendship with Sora and Kairi along with his skills in fighting without magic to create a different form of his darkness.

Dark Firaga: He counters a spell by using a dark fire, it doesn't always work but it's usually pretty good for countering spells when it's needed.

Darkness Storm: It almost seems like the wind gains a dark quality to it, and pushes people away from Riku. It's a defense technique that only really comes out when he starts to lose his faith in the light that is in his heart. Which really doesn't happen all that often.

Dark Raid: Riku holds onto his keyblade as the darkness surrounds it. When the darkness is completely finished surrounding it he throws the keyblade at his opponent. It almost acts like a boomerang so it'll just come back to his hand even if it misses. Though it does hurt him slightly because the darkness is literally slammed right back into his body.

Twilight Aura: The mix of darkness and light come together to give him the ability to dash around a little faster, making it harder for his opponent to hit him. It does last for awhile at least, however he tries to avoid abusing this one.

Cure: A simple level 1 healing spell for Riku, he doesn't usually use it often because he doesn't think about it. But it heals minor cuts and bruises.

HISTORY

Riku's life began on Destiny Islands with his best friends Sora and Kairi. They had a plan to go out and try to find other worlds and meet new people. It was supposed to be a big adventure, however something threw a wrench in that plan so to speak. They did get off the island but not together, the island was overrun by heartless. And the friends were separated. The time off of the island had many hurdles, Riku struggling with his darkness and walking a path all his own even though he believed his friends were always with him. One day he figured they'd be able to go home. However whenever that day would come was still to be seen. So much had to be done, with Sora falling into a coma and Riku succumbing to another form just to save him.

That year of Sora being in the coma was a harsh one. Sora had to get his memories repaired, Kairi was likely nowhere to be found. Riku was only one person though he wished he could do everything in a different way it just wasn't going to happen. Though they would just be separated again. Constantly being separated from his friends actually bothered Riku? Though he just wanted to get through Castle Oblivion, having been dragged there by his connection with Sora. The whole time he was in there, he had his fears thrown at him as he traveled through the worlds created in that castle. Unable to find Sora and Kairi, but constantly being asked if he could face Sora because the darkness that still resided in his heart.

Finding his friends in The world that never was happened to be when they fought Xemnas, he didn't think he would ever see Sora again. But running away had never worked for Riku anyway. They had been working on fighting nobodies, keeping secrets and just working through days trying to find a way to fix things for Sora and Kairi. Finally at least getting a little bit of a break, he thought he'd not have to go back out to do things. But no, they were summoned by Master Yen Sid for the mastery exam. Both Riku and Sora were going to take it. Xehanort being still alive was horrible to think of, more so when Sora became his next vessel and Riku had to try and save him. He could remember being restrained and someone else having to come along to save him instead, Lea was something Riku would have to thank. Riku didn't think twice before diving into Sora's body to mend his heart. After the fight Riku has passed even though Sora has not, and Riku works on finding new keybladers to train.
